Project: The New Royal Adelaide Hospital Fencing
The Brief:
The new Royal Adelaide Hospital is Australia's most advanced hospital and South Australia's single largest infrastructure project. A number of areas, both outside the building and in its many internal courtyards, required fencing with combinations of different materials and finishes installed along varying ground levels.
Our Solution:
To uphold the integrity of the designer’s vision, considerable time was spent ahead of production, devising ways of attaching panels of different materials to the fence posts. It was important that on-site manufacturing be kept to an absolute minimum, so careful thought went into fabricating the fence components in such a way that only assembly was required onsite, with all manufacturing completed in the factory.
